Academic Excellence is a one day event during school hours to celebrate the entire student body for their achievements in reading. The event is held at the end of each school year. “Our students are encouraged to read 25 books with a benchmark date for a specific number of books in order to help them remain on task” Their achievements are celebrated at the end of the campaign.

Volunteer Opportunities
PTA Chair would works directly with faculty to set the guidelines for this campaign during the school year. Volunteers and PTA chair are asked to be available the entire celebration day. There is always a “pep ralley” at the beginning of the school year organized by the teacher faculty and administration to kick start this 25 book campaign.
Time commitment: Minimal.
