Keheley PTA President's Letter

Dear Keheley Families,

On behalf of the PTA Board, we are excited to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year! Last year, PTA membership was at a 100%, a clear indication of our Keheley families’ dedication to making a difference and getting involved in our children’s education!PTA-sponsored events and activities are open to every Keheley family, and this year we again encourage you to participate and support your student in any way you are able. For our new parents and students, we say to you: there is a first time for everything, so please “just jump in and get your feet wet!” Not sure where to start? Just ask!

Please keep in mind that feedback regarding PTA programs is an important way for us to gauge your interest in the events and activities we provide for students and families. We encourage you to communicate with Keheley’s teaching staff to exchange both positive feedback and concerns you may have with your child’s learning experience at Keheley. Make sure you are also signed up for our Cougar Call, which provides pertinent, up-to-date news regarding upcoming activities.

In addition, it should be noted that our legislative committee works diligently throughout the year, keeping Keheley families informed and updated regarding Georgia PTA policy positions and important information from our local legislators.This is especially important given the economy and its potential effects our school system.
